Hello to everyone ^^ This is my first journal entry at sheezy art, like you might have guessed i am new here.
I have had a permanate residence at Deviant Art ( kerothehetetic.deviantart.com )
But... it's been letting me down a lot lately. I am absolutely outraged that they let some people vector trace screenshots of Naruto, and post them up as their own art, and in the end images like that recieve millions of faves and end up on front page.
Secondary, i'm a beginner flash animator, and i have submitted my works there and they have included sonds from Soundtracks, or just songs i liked. And two days ago someone reposted my flash animations and they were deleted sayig "they they had copyright material". So me, ofcourse, being outraged and confused i re-submitted my animations and got banned for two weeks... And someone was kind enough to give me a link to rules saying that i can not have copyrighted mysic in my flashes...
Thank you very much for telling me this earlir... -.-; You could have just told me to delete the sound and link to a version that does have sound -sighs- So that particular incident made me want to check out Sheezy Art. I'd like to egt to know this community more, and see if it's better here than on DA.
Hey there! Welcome to Sheezy! I hope you find this community to be a nice one. I saw the difference from DA almost immediately when I joined. I find it so much more relaxed here. Anyhow ... I look forward to seeing your gallery fill up! :]
Thank you very much ^__^ i hope i'll get to like it here. So far it's very nice. DA's just trippin, they deleted my flash animations because they had copyrighted songs in them... and i didn't know i couldn't have that. So i resubmitted the animations, and now i'm banned for two weeks... so -sigh- i got pretty mad >>;
What! That's messed, someone should have warned you first that it wasn't allowed and give you a chance to delete them yourself. DA makes me hate myself, but Sheezy is so supportive, it's rather friendly here.
Yeah, the administration at DA never seemed quite right to me. I think I had one of my images moved to a different category and they sent me a note saying that. Actually, it might have been sent to scraps. How insulting. LOL Good think it wasn't a picture I'd been particularly attached to.
Welcome to Sheezy - I can understand your comment about DA getting you down all too well. I love your first image so I think I am going to watch to see what else you post. :)
